THANKS CHRIS!!!!Today is Saturday, but, hearing Chris Lydon’s falaiimr voice just downloaded from the Open Source archives, I can’t restrain myself from jumping on the fanwagon, as if it were a Monday, I suppose.I doubt this is a new thread, so forgive me if this is misplaced, but I am so thrilled that I have discovered, once again, how to plug into Chris, his team, his connected community, and his guests. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!Today, I read in the Boston Globe about the comming last gasp of The Connection. With all due respect to Dick Gordon, how wonderful to find this natural next step in the interconnection of our ongoing public discussion. Wonderful!! I’ll look forward to listening and reading. Totally agree Sandy. As an immigrant in Boston of the late 90s, it irked me when the ocicsaonal prejudiced european friend visited, and made uninformed comments about american media being simplistic and bombastic. To disprove, I just had to turn on the radio after our lazy breakfast, and get them to listen to Chris for a while. (Of course, I could also terrify them by putting on a bit of the ranting AM band).It’s great to hear this team back on the air, and with the arrival of podcasting, there’s every opportunity for the show to gain an even wider audience. I don’t know how to upload video but, sam46ist on youtube made a video today of a dream he had where he saw a 9+ earthquake, tsunami, and trouble in Jerusalem. Pretty much what Elvi has been seeing.
